Campus Renewal and a Celebration of 45 Years of Ministry

As we celebrate 45 years of faithful service, our campus is being renewed both physically and spiritually. These renovations are more than updates to buildings; they are reflections of God’s provision and our continued commitment to providing shelter to children and at-risk youth, strength to families, and stability to our community.

A Sanctuary for Healing: Counseling Office Renovations
Our Counseling area is being transformed into a more welcoming and peaceful environment. With refreshed interiors and improved accessibility, this space will better support the children, youth and families who come seeking help and healing. These changes are a testament to our belief that every person deserves a place where they feel safe, seen, and supported. The ever-faithful Chickasaw Point Men’s Club has undertaken this renovation, from constructing the wall to create two offices, to completing wiring. These men are a true blessing, and we cannot thank them enough! They have prepared the space, and we are now meeting with prospective counselors to fill the space.

Cathy’s Cottage: A Revived Space for Healing
The renovations to our former on-site respite house are simply amazing. Cathy’s Cottage is now a nurturing and flexible home that will reunite families and shelter at-risk youth, where restoration begins and independence is cultivated. This ambitious project was completed by a team of Collins volunteers led by Chuck Benoit. Chuck thoughtfully crafted the plan and budget for the renovation and took charge from beginning to end, rallying volunteers for workdays and leading by example. For nearly two months, Chuck devoted at least three days a week to ensuring this home radiates comfort and love for every future resident.

A Night of Celebration: 45th Anniversary Gala
On October 9, 2025, we will come together for a sacred evening of celebration, a 45th Anniversary Gala honoring the journey of ministry, transformation, and beloved community. Held at the Madren Center in Clemson, this event will feature a shared meal, heartfelt stories of impact, and moments of reflection and gratitude.

This is more than a celebration—it is a reaffirmation of the calling God has placed upon us. We will look back with thanksgiving, we also look forward with faith, ready to continue the work entrusted to our hands and hearts. This special event will take the place of our annual BBQ. Please call our office at 864-882-0893 for information about how to reserve your seat.

Looking Forward in Faith
As we renovate our spaces and prepare for this milestone celebration, we are reminded that every brick laid and every life touched is part of a greater story, one written by God’s hand. We move forward with gratitude, trusting that the next chapter will be even more fruitful than the last.

"Unless the Lord builds the house, the builders labor in vain." Psalm 127:1
