Let Love Be
At Collins Family Ministries (CFM), the opportunity is straightforward: Let love be!
The Apostle Paul in Romans says it this way, "love one another, show honor and hospitality, rejoice with those who rejoice, and weep with those who weep. (Romans 12:10-15) Since the day we welcomed our first child on December 8th, 1980, we have been steadfast in our commitment to love one another, even in the most challenging moments.
Jesus left His heavenly home and came to Earth as a humble baby. That fateful night in Bethlehem marked the dawn of a new era; Jesus, the King, the Messiah, and Immanuel. This divine introduction is a testament to God's boundless love for us; it was no ordinary event!
At CFM, we recognize that it will take all of us doing our part to meet the needs of children, at-risk youth, and families in our community. Will you be like the innkeeper and assist us by providing shelter with a gift to help cover the costs of housing, clothing, and food? Will you be like a shepherd and provide funding for one-to-one care and counseling for program participants? Or could you be like the wise men and provide gifts of support that allow us to point others to our King, Jesus?
That night, the innkeeper, the shepherds, and the wise men shared a common need to celebrate the birth of Jesus. Today, at Collins, we celebrate what Jesus continues to do through your support and generosity!
Pray with Collins
We believe prayer changes everything! This year we’re partnering with churches. Congregations dedicate a minimum of one week of guided prayer for Collins, with the option to collect a love offering.
