To All the Dads - We See You
Fatherhood isn’t always easy. With financial pressures, legal hurdles, and the emotional weight of family life, many dads carry more than we know. And for young or low-income fathers, the journey can feel even harder—without the tools, support, or confidence they need to thrive.
But here’s the good news: God sees you. He’s with you. And you’re not alone.
This Father’s Day weekend, Collins Family Ministries celebrates every dad who’s doing his best, even when the road is tough. With faith, community, and the right support, every father can grow into the strong, loving leader God created him to be.
“The righteous man who walks in his integrity—blessed are his children after him!” Proverbs 20:7 ESV
This verse is such a beautiful reminder of the quiet strength that comes from living with integrity. When a father chooses to walk in honesty and righteousness, he’s not just doing it for himself: he’s building a legacy for his children. His life becomes a steady example, a source of security and wisdom they can lean on.
Being a godly parent doesn’t mean having all the answers or never making mistakes. It means showing up with love, doing your best to live with purpose, and trusting God to fill in the gaps. And when a dad lives that way, his children are truly blessed—not just in the moment, but for years to come.
There will come a time—maybe many times—when you’ll look back and wonder if you’ve done this whole parenting thing right. You’ll think about the mistakes, the missed moments, the things you wish you’d handled differently. That’s normal. Every dad feels that way at some point.
But here’s the Truth: while it’s your job to lead your children with love and wisdom, it’s the Holy Spirit’s job to shape their hearts. You’re not in this alone!
Philippians 1:6 reminds us that we can be confident “that He who began a good work in you will bring it to completion at the day of Jesus Christ.” That means God is still working in you, and He’s doing the same in your child.
Even when you fall short, God doesn’t. He loves your child even more than you do. He’ll work through you, and yes, even in spite of you. So take a deep breath, Dad. Keep showing up. Keep trusting God. He’s got us all in His hands.
