Community Leaders Invited to Breakfast Honoring Faith and Service
Collins Family Ministries is hosting a Community Leaders Appreciation Breakfast!
Wednesday, October 8, 2025
Gignilliat Sports Complex, North Meeting Room
621 N. Townville Street in Seneca.
The event begins with registration at 9:30 AM, followed by breakfast and a special program starting at 10:00 AM.
This free gathering is designed to recognize and honor the contributions of local faith and business leaders who work tirelessly to strengthen our community. Guests will enjoy coffee, fruit, biscuits, and pastries while engaging in meaningful conversation and fellowship.
The highlight of the morning will be a keynote address from Sara Jenkins, a speaker whose story has inspired many. Sara Jenkins will share her powerful story of resilience, redemption, and unwavering faith with us. Growing up with alcoholic parents and spending most of her childhood in a children’s home, Sara knows the ache of feeling unseen, unworthy, and forsaken. In the midst of this darkness, she found the healing power of faith. She built a profound and personal relationship with God, experiencing Him as the perfect parent—always there, always faithful. Her testimony demonstrates the power of hope and the importance of community.
Since our founding in 1980, Collins Family Ministries has served more than 500 families, providing shelter and care to hundreds of children. In 2025, we expanded our scope to include services for at-risk youth aging out of foster care or group home life. This work calls for a compassionate and engaged community, ready to follow God’s lead— just as our founders, Joe and Anne Rackley, did in 1977 when He called them to establish a ministry for families and children experiencing hardship.
Now more than ever, we need our whole community to invest in these lives full of limitless potential.
“Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.” Matthew 25:40 (NIV)
